General Petraeus Resigns from Afghanistan

Just saw this video on RT – Some interesting info about a possible Petraeus presidential run for 2012. This fits perfect into the neo-con plan. Ron Paul talking about a non-interventionist foreign policy for so many years has made some major headway, especially since his ability to speak on such a big platform during the 2008 presidential primaries.

I believe that if the establishment can get Petraeus to run it will be hard for anyone to disagree with plans to stay the course of war since Petraeus has lived it. This will be the perfect defense for all the war mongers.

Regardless of what the General says I still believe strongly in not being involved in foreign entanglements. I believe it was one of the many thing the founders of this country talked about. I believe it because it’s simple to understand, not because Ron Paul says it. It is common sense – You treat people how you expect to be treated. Trade with them, talk with them, travel and share. Sounds like a much better way to make friends to me.
